Resting Day

All Family and Friends,

Rene is having a day of rest today and would like to postpone visits. Please respect her wishes and check back here for when she will be accepting visitors. Please post to this blog as she will see it throughout the day and will get your well wishes and prayers.

No updates from the doctors yet and they are working to get the most complete diagnosis to better prepare treatments.

As always we love you Rene!

  1. Rene! We love you and I want to come visit soon, when you are a bit more up for it. Analise has drawn a few pictures for you and asks to pray for you throughout the day. Jameson wants to give you a car. Just so you know :-) Love you.

  4. Dear Rene, Last night my six year old daughter Hannah and I were praying for you. She asked if your were in the hosbeetal. This is not a spelling error, she sometimes speaks in a beautiful baby voice and I can't tell her to stop. At that very moment her words were pure and heartfelt. Her prayer to Jesus was please make mommy's friend feel better and get out of the hosbeetal. She then asked me if the food was as terrible for you, as it was for me. I laughed and told her I am sure it wasn't.

PS. We are praying for you and hoping you feel the prayers coming your way. Anna Quinones.

  5. Rene - I am lighting a candle for you and though I am 3000 miles away from you, I know you will sense the the light emanating from its flame to help you sustain an inner calmness as a place of refuge and healing for yourself. We love you - and also know that you have the strength and will power to emerge victorious in this battle. Much love, Auntie Bev and Unkie Art

It's been a long time since we've talked. I think a couple of Willow Glen Relay's ago. I so loved having you as our staff partner, and you made me so proud when you came the following year to check on us. You are a increible lady. You are in my thoughts and prayers. You fight the fight girl.
